Another bad year for BT bowls

After last years performance with four great bowl wins this year is gonna be a big step back. Can you imagine what the Outback, Gator and Insight committee's are thinking for their BT selection? Something along the lines of - "yuk, this is what we have to choose from?"

Maybe I haven't put enough thought into it, but it seems like the options would be pretty good. Michigan, Penn State and Iowa are all "second tier" bowl teams that should seem very attractive. Northwestern and Michigan State may not seem like great picks, but I still think they are going to be very competitive in their bowl games.

Not necessarily disagreeing, but curious to hear your thought process.

I don't think so at all. I think both Ohio St and Wisconsin will represent the B10 well in BCS games. Right now, I think Wisconsin would beat any team in the country, hopefully the break doesn't kill their momentum.

As for the Outback, Gator and Insight one of those bowls is going to get a Michigan team that hasn't been bowling in several years while another will get Penn St. I think they will be pleased with their options.

Also, I think Wisconsin and Ohio St making the BCS instead of Michigan St will give the Spartans a much better match up as I think they are a step below the other two 7-1 B10 teams.
