I think even I could have knocked down a couple of treys in that game the way the Hawks were playing defense and leaving guys wide open. Well, not me now as a broken down old guy but me as a 22 year old. I could straight up ball back in the day yo.

Our defense makes an average team look good. I saw it first hand Saturday night. My heart is still laying on the floor in Carver.

But some of these opponents are not the finalists for the 3 point shooting championship. There are some mediocre shooters going off on Iowa even with hands in their face and from really downtown.

It is more than just our defense, it is like players relax more against us or something or somehow get in the zone.

Proof in pudding, that 30 ft 3 to beat us against IL. I am not making excuses for playing poorly enough to allow IL to hang around BUT, people going off on the Hawks, making long dagger 3's, having career nights, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We have not caught a break ALL SEASON except for the MI game.
