If you watched the coverage, the NFL Network guys couldn't stop talking about the Iowa program. How great the coaches are. How polished the players are coming out. Great pub for the program.

Won't hurt him at all. Was in the middle of the pack. His technique is awesome and everyone raves about the Iowa LB's. He put up 26 reps and ran the shuttle well. It is insane to think a couple of hundreths of a second will hurt him. The combine is rediculous. Just another way to make tv jack.

On further review of last yrs 40 times for LBs, you are correct. It is plenty fast for an NFL LB. His technique is awesome and he was smooth in the pack-pedal drills. He will end up in the 3rd rd. JMO.

Farrior is old and played like garbage this year....the steelers could use a ILB in the 3rd or 4th round for Farrior to groom for 2011 and beyond. Angerer would be a perfect fit in Lebeau's zone blitz scheme.

I watched some of the coverage last nite and Bowman and Lee of PSU did not have good days. On the one drill that tested lateral movement, Lee kept getting his legs crossed...Angerer and Edds did well. Bowman was also tight,and did not run very well...they said he dropped out of the 1st round.

Bottom line, Iowa lbs were better than the vaunted PSU guys..on the field and in the combine...no wonder we kicked their butt!

Edds offical was 4.71..they said he looked the best out of the two Iowa LBs but so far both of them have been talked very highly on...I think edds might be the btter NFL lb
