I agree that Fran engages in puffery on a nearly continual basis when it comes to his players' abilities, but I could see Devyn adding 5 points to his average given that he won't need to play as much at the point and our top scoring option has graduated. Not guaranteed, but not outside the realm of possible.

I agree. I simply do not see Devyn averaging 18 or 19 pts a game. Gatens had an incredible shooting season last year, scored 20 pts/game in his last 12 Big Ten games,and still only averaged 17 pts /game overall. I do think we should have a few more weapons this year,so we will not need Devyn to score as much as Matt....more than 13 but not 18....maybe 15.

Especially if the scoring average gets up to around 80/game. 15 or 16 seems likely, 18 or 19 seems ideal.
