And we're going to study Green Bay?

Major choke....there were numerous errors and plays not made by GB the entire game to keep Seattle in it, just close enough to not give up. Then Lynch went into Beast mode so much that GB forgot Wilson can run....glad I'm not a Packer fan, but I certainly wanted to see them win.....

Plus, again the ot rules in NFL are questionable if you believe that both sides should get an opportunity to touch the ball...fg or TD! (although it probably would not have mattered today).

Mike Danials personal foul cost them 4 points. It did have the feel of an iowa game though. Had about 5 opportunities to close the game and couldn't get 1 of them.

I don't understand the dude who got the last pick and slid to the ground like the game was over. He had a lot off field to work with.

This. WTH was he doing? He had green ahead of him, maybe even scored. They thought they had it won right there. Whoops.

God knew that Dez Bryant really caught the ball and Dallas got screwed....his way of setting things straight. BTW, why would KF want to go study the Packers...he already has choking down pat.

Looks like we already know how to play like Green Bay. Talk about epic fail.
Maybe, in the presser, KF was pointing out Iowa players that contribute on GB. Daniels. Hyde. Bulaga. Am I leaving anyone out? If that was KF's intention, I'd just ask how, with that NFL-caliber talent, Iowa's records were so ordinary?
Really doubt KF plans to copy any GB formations. GB runs the 3-4 on defense for goodness sake. Copy Aaron Rodgers' offense? Are you kidding?

You know, KF could really make a good NFL coach. He'd presumably have the talent. He could concentrate on the fundamentals and have a successful team. I bet he's envious of the SeaHawks.

I would love to have the opportunity to choke in college football playoff game (winner goes to NC game).

A study in what not to do.

Green/gold looked an awful lot like Black/gold mindset.

Reading the Packer/seahawk blog comments about why GB lost, most are overwhelmingly suggestive that the loss is on the coaches for too conservative of play calling. Seems about right to me.....teams that try to "not lose" don't seem to usually advance too far.

While GB is a generally good team, and made the nfc championship game, they sure reminded me of watching an Iowa game. (& not in a warm fuzzy way)

Hold on, so now people are going to complain about KF going to Green Bay, because they lost the NFC Championship??? I mean seriously they have a very good offense, they had a great season, but just because they lost 1 game in a very fluky fashion (on side kick, and a hail mary 2 pt. conversion) people are ripping on Kirk for wanting to visit there?

We are all tired of KF, but jeeze people does that mean you have to lose all rational thought??

Hey deanvogs it's NOT that they chose GB it's that they chose GB and it was a mirror image of everything ailing the Iowa program. Also, the way the game played out is alllll to eerily familiar with how GB lost that game. Problem is KF runs his program like he has Rogers, Cobb, Lacy, and Nelso in his arsenal. He does NOT so quit trying to make it fit when you don't have any of those pieces to execute. They play calling was vintage conservative bad with several plays looking like a Ferentz offense. This thread was brilliant and someone beat me posting it.

The OT rules are okay since they changed them. If the first team on offense kicks a FG, then the other team has a chance to answer. You can argue that it's still a little unfair, but a team can't win in OT the old fashioned way (which was ridiculous).
