i couldnt agree more Mike, i think Maddux would be a great pitching coach. I hope that is something he wants to do

So I guess Maddux isn't interested and the Cubs are looking to go cheap again and hire from within the organization. It's going to be a rough couple years, but let's get some contracts off the books and get some quality baseball going again.

And one of basball's richest teams is begging for money, from a bankrupt state, to do construction in a massively obsolete ballpark. So, baseball's biggest losers cant open their eyes and look to SF and see that they have financed their own ballpark with substantially less revenue and a lower payroll and still won it all, just like St Louis has done? Billionaires(Ricketts) need to spend their won money, not try to throw it on the taxpayers.
