Ryan Bowen is the latest southeast Iowa name to be etched into the IHSAA's Boys Basketball Hall of Fame.
Bowen, a 1994 graduate of Fort Madison High School, is among tonight's inductees who will be introduced during the Class 4A state championship game.
He is the latest player from those early 1990s teams in the area who made their presence known throughout the state.
Bowen played during a time when basketball was on the rise in southeast Iowa. Winfield-Mount Union was making state tournament trips with Jess Settles and Klay Edwards, who are also in the Hall of Fame.
