I am not optimistic Iowa can beat Michigan. I hope I am wrong.

I have a bad feeling that this is the point in the season where the wheels start falling off. I think it started in the loss to MSU....I think that took a lot out of the team. We come back the next game and damn near get beat by the worst team in the conference in Illinois where, with the exception of the first 8 minutes, played terrible that game. We then follow that up with maybe our most complete lackluster showing of the season.
Now we have Michigan at home where we can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn. Then we play 2 straight road games against teams that have shown the ability to beat decent teams (Ind vs Mich and PSU vs OSU).
I can more easily see us lose to Mich, Ind and PSU to be on a 4 game slide than I can the opposite based on how we've played the last couple of weeks.
Really can't shoot worse than 3/20 from the arc. You can't win games these days against decent opponents when you shoot like last night. Can get away with it against cupcakes but not B1G. Make even 6/20 and it's a whole new ballgame. Missing all the early 3's just took the life out of the team and arena. They will shoot better Saturday or might as well close up shop.
yeah. it's not like OSU was playing great perimeter defense. most of those were open looks. They had great looks on 80 percent of their 3 point attempts. At times, however, they seemed to be a tad too deep and rushed the shots, especially in the second half. Oglesby is not getting open much, but I think he passed up a couple good looks from 22 feet last night.
Why not follow Indiana's recipe?Michigan scares me. We just don't match up that well and Carver hasn't seemed to be a home court advantage.
White will be forced to guard either Stauskas or LeVert both 6-6" and good enough handles to go by White. I imagine Marble will go on Stauskas this time as he had the game of his life at their place.
Why not follow Indiana's recipe?
We better if we expect to avoid the NIT.
