Almost moved on.

After a day I'm ready to move on and get focused on the next game. Obviously wanting new def and offensive coordinators is the trend going on but many of us have been complaining about this for years and nothing will or is going to change for a couple of years / losing seasons.
College football moves in cycles and most teams follow these cycles unless they are a top tier program. A program will build up to good years and then falter to mediocre and the bad years. Just look at teams and that is the cycle. The elite programs sometimes are able to avoid this but just look at Michigan for example.
I'm not making excuses to keep the staff and follow blindly. I'm just putting my most positive foot forward.

Matters little now. We won't win another game this year. And if we do by some miracle, well we're 6-6 just like I predicted. Whoop d f'ing dooo! Olivecourt bans himself for life, next season we get all worked up, then lose to some gawdawful program like ISU or NW or Indiana, then we beat a team we shouldn't and the whole cycle starts again.

Minnesota didn't deserve that game? They made the plays necessary to win. Even with all of our blunders, we were in position to win, and they found a way to keep us from taking advantage. They earned it.

Can't argue. The most valid point you make is the issue about losing to shitstains like ISU and NW but pulling a win out of our *** against Michigan or Nebby. There is no reason we should not be able to beat these teams that we should.

I don't care what anyone says. This year, ISU is better than us. I'm not saying they're good, because they are not. We are just bad. There are years when ISU upsets us, this was not one of those years.
