Wow! What does it say that 4 were picked at 1st and 2nd team at tackle and the 23rd overall pick is honorable mention? Amazing 20 years!

Shouldn’t Tristan Wirfs be in the conversation at one of the tackle spots? Or is he in the doghouse there too? Maybe we need an all doghouse team too. Lol!

Wirfs has never been all-Big Ten. Jackson was second team last year. All the other guys listed were all-Big Ten. Not the only criteria, but a key one.

I agree with them all. I might also stick Wirfs on there as an honorable mention tackle, or maybe he gets there for the 25 year all-Ferentz team.

Not criticizing, was just curious why he didn’t get at least a nod for honorable mention due to all the praise and hype he has been receiving. When there’s talk of him being a possible first round draft pick, there’s gotta be something to it. Just saying.

Andrew Donnel, Ben Sobieski, Cole Croston, Markus Zusevics, and Ike Boettger are right up there with McMahon, Porter & Callaway for honorable mention at tackle.

I didn't expect Nelson vs Daniels to even be close let alone Daniels actually beating out Nelson for 1st team.

Daniels was, what? 3rd team Big Ten at best, vs Nelson was an All-American! How was the race at center even close? I am not even sure Daniels was 2nd team all-KF worthy. He may end up with the best NFL career, but how much does that count?

Brian Ferentz should be on the list. He didn't have to compete for the OC job...he shouldn't have to compete for the best ever list.

I'm guessing his status as a high 2nd round pick and pro potential played a lot into the vote. As college players only I would put Nelson and Bruggeman ahead of him. Part of that is also those guys were centerpieces for dominant OLs.

Think about this a bit.

Brian was starting center in 2003. Before 2004 he gets staph infection and nearly has leg amputated. He comes back, moves to guard and is part of a pretty good team that has to completely revamp.

You may not like him, but he has a lot more balls and toughness than many want to admit.

Doesn’t it get confusing when you have to log out and log back in as @karras to like your posts?

I can barely remember to take the trash out let alone manage three or four alts..

Nice work.
Making up stories to deal with opinions you don't like? I expected more from you Frau.
