All Conference Question

My brother and I were talking about all-conference and we were wondering what would have happened if Iowa would have beaten Indiana (down 3 late), MSU (up 3 late), Purdue (up 2 late), Wisc (bad looking 3 goes in at buzzer of regulation), and Neb (we all know what happened there), or at least 4 of those 5, giving us at least a share of the conference title (if one of the wins was against Indiana.

If this would have happened, our individual stats wouldn't have changed, so how would this have affected the all-conference team? Would we have had a 1st teamer? Our only guarantee was that Fran would have been unanimous COY.

I dont think anybody would have jumped to 1st team. Have a hard time taking anybody off that team in favor of a Hawk, regardless or record.

White, Marble or both could have jumped to 2nd team.

That's kind of what we came up with, too. We were also trying to think of anyone else that could have been put on 3rd team, but struggled with that. 2 second teamers for a conference champ just seemed like a slight to us, even though it was probably all we would have deserved. Our only thought was that, with Iowa in or near 1st place all season, the hype/attention might have pushed Marble to 1st team. We thought that Marble and Oladipo's stats were similar enough that he might have gotten that push. You are correct in saying, though, that it would be tough to knock someone else off the team.
