Akrum Wadley Headed to CFL

He'll get noticed by the NFL and the first team to figure out he should be used like Ronnie Harmon will have quite the diamond.

Yes, Harmon was great at Buffalo and then maybe San Diego and he was normally a third down back but a big, sturdy third down back who could run or catch.

Wadley is probably doing a smart thing and making some money and getting playing time. Unless someone knows what the Titans told him or what he surmised from his NFL experience we will never know if he should hang on with practice squads etc

Yes he made a pro-bowl and had a nice long NFL career and I know KF is inside your head as far as metrics go but let's not get carried away.
In no Universe was he a big back by NFL standards. I'm sure many think Wadley is 5-7 155 pounds but his game isn't power it's stealth and agility. Like I said, first team to figure out how to use him wins. He has the ability, just needs the "right fit".

Not NFL money, but he could do alright. Minimum in the CFL is around $50K, average salary is around $80K. (depending on who's numbers you read).

Stars make more of course... top skill players like QBs make $300-400K. In demand free agents usually makes over $100K.

All Canadian $, of course. so..multiply by .75ish

hahahah, if you believe that link you posted that he played at 5 feet 11 inches and 200 pounds after a few years at Buffalo then your friggin eyes are deceiving you when you watched him play , if you did, and what you read.

First pimple-face to reply with "hahahah" loses.

If Harmon was 5'11'' and 200 like the link you quoted then Wadley went to the NFL and 5'9'' and 180 pounds.

I am not trying to make a big deal out of your big deal of italicizing your remark that I was way out of bounds calling Harmon a big back but please remember Harmon stopped playing in the NFL 20 years, a generation ago. When he went into the league in 1985 he was plenty good sized for a RB and he added some muscle so that by his 3rd and 4th years he was plenty big for the NFL.

If I remember correctly, Harmon was listed at 210 in San Diego toward the end of his career. I loved watching him on 3rd down. He was an ankle breaker for linebackers. I've never seen anyone do what he did so consistently. Teams knew it was coming and he would still juke the linebacker out of his jock and get separation. He was unstoppable on third down...eventually teams were using a safety on him too.

If only Harmon had showed up to play in that Rose Bowl......
