Boise St will crush VT. Just wait and see. VT is always ranked too high in the pre-season. This status used to be reserved for ND but for some odd reason, VT has it now.

Simple math, we get into a great bowl game depending on where we are ranked at the end of the regular season. If we start at #10 and lose a game, we probably fall at least 5-10 spots depending on the oppponent. Makes it much longer and harder to get back into the top 5. We then depend on other teams to lose for us to advance.
If we start #2 and lose a game, we stop in or just outside the top 10. So for any of you that don't want to be ranked too high to start the season, go root for Illinois or ISU. If you have any sort of faith in our players not reading into them being unbeatable and want a possible shot at a national title or close, hope we start the season as high as possible.
