Transfer from Oregon State was hoping to play right away this year but will have to sit out and will play his senior season in 2014-2015. Groce will now be 3 schollies over the limit for 2014-2015 and will have to "Crean" more guys. They still have Cliff Alexander coming on an official visit at the end of October and if Groce can pull that rabbit out of his hat he would have to free up 4 scholarships some way.

Are you sure they are over by 3? I think it is only 1. Still, they are looking to try to add Big Cliff ,which would add to the problem. Groce is joining Crean, Richard Pitino and Chris Collins as scumbag coaches in the Big Ten who are oversigning....no class.

You are right, Starks will put them at 14 for next year. I dont know why I thought they were so far over.

Its actually pretty hilarious. Starks wants the waiver because he is moving to be closer to his ill grandma. The rule states that the school must be within 100 miles of the sick family members home. Chicago is a lot further than 100 miles from Champaign-Urbana.

Stupid Illini fans.

You forgot the /sarc for sarcasm. If you're not, well, Marquette, DePaul, Northwestern, Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, just to name a few.
