Ah....remember Tate to Holloway

Kirk has a well documented history of not liking players with any kind of ego whatsoever.

Or with natural ability.

He doesn't trust them because they don't seem to work as hard in his mind, plus that would really hurt his rep, not to mention his ego, for his ability to develop guys.

it was the last time I remember Iowa showing anything that resembles coming through in the clutch.

Players make coaches look good, and bad, all over cfb, every week.

That was a poorly managed clock...a scramble...that worked.

Clutch is a strange thing, and rarely does it have to do with coaching.

What a great memory that was. I vividly remember screaming Nooooo....Yesssss!

I was at the game. The play went away from where I was sitting, but I could see the ref's raising their arms for "TD"

After Simmons scored earlier, I lost my voice. I had nothing left vocally....nada, bupkis, zero.

When Iowa scored to win the game, all I could literally do is fall back into a wild Iowa mosh-pit in the stands.

I flew up out of my chair yelling WE WON WE WON WE WON! I think that was the most shocked I've been for a Hawks football game. Hawks didn't have any semblance of a running game and we all know LSU was supposed to kick our ass big time. Don't care who didn't do what or who doesn't like who it was a FANTASTIC as finish as you'll ever see. Love my Hawks!

A moment no Hawkeye fan will ever forget.

I damn near put a hole in my floor from jumping up and down.
