...I feel like we can have a field day in the post as long as we can stay committed to it. We didn't in the 2nd half against Michigan and it cost us.

But I feel like the plethora of post guys that we can throw at them in waves from Basabe, Woody, Gabe, Uthoff, McCabe, and even White down low could really dominate them. We just have to be committed to doing it. It may force them to go zone which would negate the athleticism they have in the backcourt on defense.

Can't wait to bring the pain on Tuesday!

We also need to guard Appling the right way. That wrist is not healed and he is 2-10 and 3-11 in his last two games from the field … including 0-6 on 3s. Let him shoot the outside ball but don't let him penetrate and dish. Our zone might be very effective against him. We do need to guard Trice and Kaminski behind the arc. Harris is their offense right now … we have to guard him tough.

Not just the forwards, get everyone posting up. It looks like 6'5" Valentine will be guarding White and Uthoff, and 6'4" Harris on Marble. No need to shoot 3's when you can get the ball in the paint and just shoot over your man.

Exactly. It's no different than the Michigan game. Stauskas was going to get his, but we let Irvin and Morgan get away from us a little and that, ultimately, was the difference in the game. If I'm Fran, I don't worry to much about Harris, he's going to get his 20-25. But don't let Appling, Valentine or their other scrub bigs get loose. If we do that, we should win going away.
