AFTER THE BYE

I say take the 2 weeks to overhaul the offense and install the wishbone or straight-T with all 3 starting. Can't leave talent on the bench. I think CJ could run a mean triple option.

In all seriousness, though, it will be interesting to see how the RB's are used.

I think pound them with Canzeri and Danials in the 1st half. Then when they're tired and used to those pursuit angles, bring in Wadley to run right by them.

In most of life you play the hand that is currently "hot" until circumstances dictate you make a change. Wth today's 204-yard performance coming off the bench, Akrum Wadley is the hot hand. Hopefully New Kirk will observe that.

Definitely need Wadley in the mix. He is a great changeup

It is observed that would seriously eff up the B1G! But I like it!

Can you imagine the reaction in two weeks in Iowa City? Or Nov. 7 at Bloomington? HAHAHAHA

Break it down ...
-- Canzeri will not play another down in the regular season.
-- Daniels might be "ready" but his skill set is something like, "I just don't see where you fit, son."
-- Seems like Wadley, as long as he's handy and that unspeakable mo-fo leaves him be, backed up by DM-Jr.

Now that the aggressive D's are behind, can't get my mind off some serious use of Plewa -- as a change of pace meat-hammer for 5 or 6 carries a game. Just to extend the life of those scats.

Mitchell will see plenty of play due to his receiving ability, especially with Canzeri out. Mitchell looks like a third down back.

From what I've seen I prefer Mitchell to Daniels.

Wadley is ridiculous. I don't see how you can't continue to give him allot of carries.

He'll be "hot" until his first fumble.

200 yards or not....he'll be sitting again.

I'd put my money on Daniels starting with Wadley/DMX co-second string. But as long as Wadley continues to hang onto the ball (and you have to think that today's performance goes a long way to putting those ghosts to rest) he'll see at least equal touches with Daniels and more if Daniels can't regain some semblance of his week 1 form. As much as Kirk may be "New Kirk", I just don't see him starting Wadley with his so-recently-documented fumbling issues.

As someone else mentioned, I think Mitchell is carving out a great niche as a receiving back and as good as he's been in limited action, I think his role continues to grow regardless of what happens with the rest of the RB corps.

I doubt Canzeri will be ready in two weeks. I think it's Wadley with Daniels as backup.

Wouldn't be surprised if the staff looks to sit Canzeri the next two games after the bye week, at home against Maryland and then at Indiana. Indiana should be the tougher of the two assignments. But if Wadley and Daniels are good, they may try to give Jordan more time to heal.
