Good read. It's going to be nice having more than one true point. We have good depth overall but we have lacked it at the point for a while now. This season will be fun. From article:

Football also gave the 18-year-old Clemmons his lifelong nickname. He played defensive tackle as a 7-year-old in a tackle football league and was unstoppable. He wore No. 99 and his future high school coach gave him the nickname “Baby Sapp.â€￾

“I think Mike is more of an offensive-minded point guard,â€￾ Marble said. “Sapp is more of a defensive-minded point guard. That’s what makes them such good point guards in their own way, how they can co-exist and bring something different to the table.

I'm absolutely rigid over the start of basketball. In an anticipatory type of way, not a Sandusky type of way.

With Gesell basically being given the starting role, it's a great situation having a guy there to push him and make Gesell feel like he still has to earn the spot. I'm looking forward to seeing them on the court at the same time as well. I'm trying to temper by expectations, but I can't help feeling excited for this season.

Sounds like Marble is out all week with pneumonia....not good.

He is a key guy to replacing Matt Gatens and we need him strong and healthy.
Thankfully, it is still october.
