Add extortion to despicable Penn State story

Paterno's family threatened to file a defamation lawsuit before Penn State agreed to the $5.5 million buyout. As long as Penn State and its sick, cult-like fan base continue to deny the reality of what happened, they all deserve to flounder in the same cesspool.

Here's an idea, Jay Paterno: get Mom and your brothers and sisters to agree to either give the money back or donate it to a fund to help the victims of child sexual abuse. Otherwise you are going to look just as bad as your old man in this.

Tweeter, two things:
1. PSU fanbase isn't "cult-like"; they are a bona fide cult.
2. I like you so much better when you're focusing your hate and rage on PSU rather than The POTUS.

:D

As silly as it sounds the best thing that happened to JoePa is getting fired over the phone in the middle of the season. All the money and everything else really meant nothing.

The fact that he didn't get a "victory lap", one last standing ovation, or the fact he didn't get to go out on his terms is at least something he and his family will have to accept as part of his final demise.

There was a victory lap. It was before, during, and after the Nebraska game on Nov 11, 2011. Media sycophants enabled it.

Meh, this part isn't that big of a deal, IMO. People threaten to sue each other all the time. It's not like Joe said something like, "If you out me, I'll tell them even worse things that happened."

THAT would be sick. This is just your everyday threat of a lawsuit, and calling it extortion is a little over the top.

The worst part of it was the lack of backbone by the BOT, not the threat.

Ima print up a bunch of Pedo Bear Penn State shirts (I'll use the nice soft 50/50 cotton poly blend) with the words SHAME emblazoned upon them and sell them for a reasonable price at the Pedo State - Iowa game, should that game disgustingly occur.

I shall not be using GamedayRon as a distributor.

Not a bad idea - proceeds go to the victims?

If you're serious, I like this.

I've got a guy I use to design and print shirts. If by some hideous circumstance we actually do play Pedo State this year, I'm on it.

I don't want any profits, I'll happily donate them to an anti-abuse organization.

If you are going to do a fundraiser send a good message, something like "Our Kids > Football" or "Save our Kids from Pedophiles".
