The Big Ten is only 3-10 overall in this challenge but are on a roll having won the last 3. Can they make it 4 in a row?

Iowa is only 2-9 in this challenge and has lost to Virginia Tech twice since it started. They have lost 6 in a row having last won in 2005 against NC State.

Date Time ACC Team Big Ten Team Location Television (My Picks)
Tue., Nov. 27
7:15 pm Florida State vs Minnesota Donald L. Tucker Center • Tallahassee, FL ESPN2 (Minnesota)
7:15 pm Virginia Tech vs Iowa Cassell Coliseum • Blacksburg, VA ESPNU (Virginia Tech)
7:30 pm NC State vs Michigan Crisler Arena • Ann Arbor, MI ESPN (Michigan)
9:15 pm Maryland vs Northwestern Welsh-Ryan Arena • Evanston, IL ESPN2 (Maryland)
9:15 pm Wake Forest vs Nebraska LJVM Coliseum • Winston-Salem, NC ESPNU (Wake Forest)
9:30 pm North Carolina vs Indiana Assembly Hall • Bloomington, IN ESPN (Indiana)

Wed., Nov. 28
7:00 pm Virginia vs Wisconsin Kohl Center • Madison, WI ESPN2 (Wisconsin)

7:30 pm Miami vs Michigan State BankUnited Center • Coral Gables, FL ESPN (Michigan State)

9:15 pm Boston College vs Penn State Bryce Jordan Center • University Park, PA ESPNU (Boston College)
9:30 pm Duke vs Ohio State Cameron Indoor Stadium • Durham, NC ESPN (Duke)

I think this year ends in a tie with each day going 3-3. There are quite a few toss up games in here so it could go either way.

This year it looks pretty balanced. I could see both conferences winning it, but can't see either conference getting more than 7 wins in the process. Only changes I would make to your predictions is that I could see Iowa pulling a past VT, and its unlikely but I could also see Northwestern beating Maryland.

I just could not pick Iowa over Virginia Tech due to it being a road game and Iowa's past performance in this challenge.

But yeah, Northwestern vs Maryland I was flipping a coin. Penn State vs Boston College I was as well even though PSU lost their top player, BC is awful and it is a home game for PSU.

I can see the reason both sides of why to pick Iowa and why not to. But really I look at both teams schedules and granted neither team has faced any teams that are close to being ranked, but I feel Iowa has had more tests than VT. And usually on a basketball court, a good defense usually beats a good offense. Unless that good offense is with guys by the name of Nowitzki, Durant, Bryant or James. Which I don't see any one on their team with that kind of ability.

It would be interesting to see each team broken down with how many home vs away games in the challenge.

I have the Big 10 winning 8 games to 4 for the ACC. Big 10 winners are : Minn, Iowa, Mich, Nebr, Indiana, Wisc, Mich St, Ill and Penn St.

Virginia Tech plays D like we did last year. They don't guard a soul. We win by 10 with the Big 3 of Marble, White and Mikey G carrying us.

I've got:

Iowa
Minnesota
Wisconsin
MSU
Michigan
Indiana
Northwestern

All of those teams are likely to win. Northwestern might have the toughest test. Iowa should handle VaTech somewhat easily I'd think

BIG wins again...8 wins...we may also see OSU rise to the occasion and make it 9

Florida State, Iowa, Michigan, Maryland, Wake Forest, Indiana, Wisconsin, Clemson, Michigan State, Illinois, Boston College, and Ohio State. That gives me 7-5 B1G.

I got 5 of the 6 right, the one I missed went to the Big Ten. Unexpected blow out by Nebraska over Wake Forest on WF home court. I also did not expect North Carolina to get blown out by Indiana. None of the games were really close and did not go to the wire. Michigan "only" won by 7 but they controlled that game.

I am sticking with my picks for tomorrow, Big Ten is in position to win this challenge again for the fourth time in a row.
