The BTN has a poll on their website. Would you like to see football adopt a ACC/Big Ten Challenge-like event?
Big Ten Network
At this point i would have to say no. Sure playing Miami, FSU and Va Tech would help with the SOS, however this year shows you can play cupcakes and still make the title game or other bcs games.
Auburn: Arkansas St, LA Monroe, Chattanooga
TCU: New Mexico, UNLV, SMU, Wyoming, Colorado St., Tennessee Tech
Boise St: New Mexico St., Wyoming, San Jose St., LA Tech, Idaho, Toledo, etc.
Wisconsin: UNLV, San Jose St. Austin Peay
Arkansas: UTEP, LA Monroe, Tennessee Tech
MSU: W. Michigan, Florida ATL, Northern Colorado
Nebraska:Western Kentucky, Idaho, South Dakota St.
I'm not saying Iowa doesnt play cupcakes, but to play 3 Non-conference cupcakes every year does not hurt you. Adding the ACC challenge would probably guarentee to BCS teams in the non-conference every year. And with the Big Ten going to 9 conference games in 2012, this would be CRAZY.
