Came in the first half and played really good ball. Good movement and spacing without the ball. Nice J. Huge rebound. He hasnt been getting minutes but it was good to see.

My question is if we get the juco kid does clemmons leave? I just don't see him doing much as I think he has a much lower ceiling than people thought last yr. it would suck to lose him and it is all just conjecture but bringing in a juco pg seems weird to me with two jr pgs.

I think he is more athletic than any of the gaurds but is having a slump on a deep team. I think he will be a big part of the next two years.
Gesell is more athletic. He is just a lot better ball player and is better at pretty much every facet of the game...even defense which was supposed to be clemmons calling card.
hopefully the kid can comeback and prove me wrong but I just don't see it out of him.
3 pgs spread through 3 or 4 yrs is good. 3 pgs in 2 yrs is crowded.

AC is faster, stronger, can jump a lot higher. MG is the better basketball player but AC is more athletic.

Agreed, I'm just saying that the team needs another player that can be a primary ball handler when on the court for next year. Having 3 graduate in 2 years wouldn't be ideal but unfortunately the position is needed.

Clemmons is one of the best defenders on the team. Mike should definitely play more, but there are more minutes for AC this year if he continues to knock down a few shots.
Best on ball defender is gesell.
most consistent wing defender is oglesby. Marble is the best wing defender but he takes plays off.
so for guards I would say clemmons is fourth best defender.

I would agree with this. I would say AC could improve a lot. Its hard to get anything going on either side of the ball when you play 3-4 mins a game. So thats just what happens when you lose mins its hard to get the back.
