Go away Kirk, please for the love of god go away.
Come on OP. I want to hear your opinion on what Kirk did wrong there. If he would have hurried faster, Minnesota would have still had time to score after our drive stalled. And when you're Iowa, after a 15 yard penalty you're drive is officially stalled. We can barely get 10 yards on 3 downs. How the hell will we get 25?
You're right, Iowa under KF will never get 15 yards in 3 plays because we will never try
No I mean 15, 25 would make KF cower under the benches in the fetal positionYou mean 25 right?

Sarcasm or just stupid?I was saying this in the game thread but will say it here too. We had plenty of time. Time was never, nor would it have ever been an issue on that drive. We were at mid field with a minute left and 3 timeouts. A 2 minute drill couldn't be more perfect than that. Beth Mowens sounded like an idiot to anyone who understands how much time you need to score from mid field.
The penalty was the issue. There was plenty of time to use 3 tos.
KF has had some huge clock management issues in his tenure. This wasn't really one if them. We were at the 50 with 1 minute.
The problem is without the penalty he was still going to screw it up with no hurry up offense and mismanaging his timeouts. Everyone knows it. Time to climb on board the reality train.
The end of both halves were the same. Kirk couldn't get the first down. This is his M.O. Our offense was 63rd in scoring BEFORE today! We'll probably drop to 73rd now. He sucks at offense. This will never change and deep down you know it.
Our offense isn't good, and KF has had clock management issues throughout his tenure. Both of those things are true and I've never denied either. Not even trying to get a 1st down at the end of the game was frustrating, and could have ended badly. Thankfully it didn't.
That said, the clock management at the end of the first half was not an issue. At 50, 1 minute, and 3 timeouts.
Little summation on game management.
Cirk v Rutgers = 14-7
Harbaugh v Rutgers = 71-0
