So over the course of the last 2 months or more, this game has been talked about and examined from a lot of angles, but here is a thought, that maybe has not gotten enough run...Yes they have a good qb
and some good wide outs but,.....IOWA has a tremendous Punter in Taylor ... so my line of thinking is that, IF we have to punt a bit, then they are always starting from the their 10 yard line or worse, that may give them less field to work with.
Most of the time when your backed up almost all game long you get a bit discouraged, then you start to press a bit ... and 1/2 your playbook is out because of your starting field position, so timing is a bit off, and less room to run up the middle or outside. you look up and your 3rd and 8 again and again,
again....no time for a long pass play to develop.....DBs should be sitting on the 1st down maker ...
makes it hard to get in a groove.
