Wow...certainly got a Matt Gaten's type of feel to it. Supreme confidence and will to get it done...loved to watch him go off in the second half tonight. Maybe a little of Eric May thrown in there too.

Congrats to Aaron...over 20 in how many straight now? Climb aboard guys...let's ride this horse.

Just a great Hawkeye!

You could read his lips heading into one of the timeouts telling his teammates that "they can't guard me."

Loved it.

May certainly played his best ball as a senior and Gatens really delivered his final 6 - 8 games but Aaron White is on a completely different level than those 2 drones. Nothing personal, just facts ... those 2 could not hold a f-ing stick to Aaron White.

Hard to argue that too much, but Gatens did it with a lot less talent, at least developed talent, than is on this team. If senior Gatens was on this team I would imagine his stat line would be impressive too.

Matty Fresh went on a tear of epic proportions at the end of his senior year. Every team they play ran two and three guys at him. He was the Man that teams had to stop every night as he could beat you, and he still put up huge numbers including hitting something like 12 in a row from three over a two game stretch. If Gatens had Uthoff, Woodbury, Olesani, Jok, and others, you couldn't really slant your defense at him like team's did.

Epic Fail Still...epic fail.
