Aaron White vs D.J. Newbill - 1st Team All-Big Ten

If D.J. Newbill does not make 1[SUP]st[/SUP] team All-Big Ten I think there will be some in the B1G that will cry foul … especially if Aaron White makes it. I pulled some quick tangible stats but they definitely do not measure all of the intangibles each brings to the game. That said, Aaron deserves 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Team recognition. He impacted the game in many different ways.

Newbill led the conference in scoring but took nearly 200 more FG attempts than White and averaged 4.8 points more per game while averaging 6 more minutes per game.

Newbill had to be the guy on a weak PSU team. He also was able to pad his non-conference stats playing the 312[SUP]th[/SUP] ranked non-conference SOS.

Congrats to all of them. I am surprised White made both coaches/media first team and surprised Uthoff didn't make 2nd on one of them. He will be at least 2nd team next year.
