A wish for this football season

If I had one wish that I could wish this football season, it would be for all the players to have an injury free winning season no matter what team they play for.

If I had two wishes that I could wish for this football season, the first would be for all the players winning and injury free, and the second would be for Iowa Hawkeyes to win the Big Ten championship.

You know, if I had three wishes that I could make this football season, first, of course, would be for all the players winning and not getting hurt. The second would be for the Hawkeye Big Ten championship, and the third would be for the Hawkeyes to win the National Championship.

And if I had four wishes that I could make this holiday season, first would be the crap about the players, second would be for the Big Ten Championship, the third would be for all the National Championship, and the fourth would be to see the Hawkeyes crotch stomp the Cyclones like in the days of Hayden, think like 72-0, I’ve talked to a few players and they are behind me on this.

Wait a minute; maybe that crotch stomp thing should be the first wish! So, if I made that the first wish, because, you know, it could all go boom tomorrow, and then what have you got? No, no, the players winning would be great, that would be nice. No, no, who am I kidding! I mean, they're not gonna be able to all win all of their games! I mean, the math of that is impossible! It's more trouble than it's worth! So, we reorganize: here we go. First, the crotch stomp thing - we go with that; second, the National Championship. No! We go with the Big Ten Championship, then the National Championship, and then the players. Oh, wait, oh geez! I forgot about revenge against our rivals! Okay, revenge against all our rivals, they should lose all of their games by triple digits! That would be the fourth wish! And of course, my fifth wish would be all the players to have an injury free winning season no matter what team they play for.

Go Hawks!

My only wish is Kirk Ferentz doesn't give a rat's behind about the opposing teams feelings on game day.

Everything else will take care of itself if the above happens. Not holding my breath though until I see last Saturday repeated several times.
