A special Hawkeye necklace!

When I took a team from Lutheran Church of Hope to northern Uganda with me this past November, I brought along a copy of the Sports Illustrated which featured the Hawkeyes on the cover. As a Board member for ChildVoice, International, I knew that women at our Centre had recently started making bead necklaces from paper. I was hoping that maybe they could take that special SI cover and make a very special necklace. If you go to my gallery album (don't ask me how, this is my first post ever on anything), you can see that I got it done!! So now I need help finding that special person to wear this necklace. Is there anyone out there in Hawkeye Nation that can help me? I was thinking of either a special donation to ChildVoice or a special SOMEBODY, or maybe both?? I'm open to ideas and suggestions.

And so much more to the story ... many of these women at the ChildVoice Centre were abducted by rebel forces as young children and forced to do things that are unimaginable to us. But it's been a struggle to get this story out. I keep looking for ways to do that.
