A ridiculously CRAZY question.

But just for fun, what can i say, I am bored today.

Let's say Iowa pulls off another HUGE win this week AT Maryland then wins the next B1G game to go 9-0 in conference.

But then, for some reason, they went on to lose EVERY OTHER GAME the rest of the season. 9-9 B1G final record, 0-1 BTT

Would they make the NCAA tournament?

lol and would never happen I know, but interesting question nonetheless....

Probably need 10-0 before they lose the rest. That means they can lock up their birth by the end of next weekend.

An 18-13 record probably gets us into the NIT. Even only winning 2 more games the rest of the way probably makes Iowa a bubble team at 20-11.

Only thing I agree with is it's a crazy question. We won't have a collapse like we did a few years ago.We probably will lose in the future but don't see this team losing more than two games back to back unless we have major injuries to one of our starters.Practices are a lot easier when your winning and coaches can keep teaching them on how to improve.

They'd make it. I think a maryland win clinches it. We got a lot of high rpi wins. I've wondered this question too just because i wanna know when we're "officially" dancing. While there are huge possibilities with so little success in years a tournament birth itself is still kinda worth celebrating.

Here's a really crazy question....can iowa actually win a BTT game this year? Seems like it's been awhile

That's how you get your grey hair!

Under your scenario we don't get in and if we did we would have a horrible seed and get thrashed. 20 wins and we are in for sure this year, maybe 19 if we beat Maryland. This team isn't going to bottom out.

Not to be a nit picker, but wouldn't EVERY OTHER GAME mean lose one, win one, lose one, win one ..... With 9 games left and a 18 and 3 record as a starting point would not the record end up near 22 and 8?

The '13-'14 Hawk squad was ranked #10 in January and plunged all the way down to the play-in game after losing 6 of their final 7 games.

I'm not sure any team would make the dance if they lost their final 10 games in a row.
