A little worried about Coach

Over the years coach has come to Carlos Okelly's after a loss telling us "I do not get up too much after a win. And I do not get down too much after a loss." However, listening this week I thought he is obviously down about things right now. He likes to down play losses, however I think he really had aspirations of a possible NC run this season. With the Parker situation and losing another RB. I thought he sounded tired. Anyone else listen?

I think hes getting hit from all directions. He will have us back up to speed here soon. Right now though that prob feels like a very long road.

The unforseen always hurts. With Norm's problem and with players getting hurt wears on you as a coach.Hope we rebound for the Big Ten season.

He got home Sunday at like 7:00 am. At the same time he had a bunch of work to do this week. It will take some time to catch up. Need to decide on pulling a RS at RB, or go pass first, need to figure out what to do at RG seeing that Gettis played that last series and got owned, also need to shore up all the problems on ST. Must be exhausted.

Really bad decision scheduling that game. I hope the Hawks have learned their lesson permanently.

I agree with Gettis. We have only seen a limited display, but the samples are far from impressive

I really didn't like the switch. The line had continuity with MacMillan in there. I say don't fix something that ain't broke.

i hope this team is p i s s e d off. They need to come out and play "mad" the rest of the season. Absolutely need to throttle Ball State this weekend.

You're dead on about Gettis. The knock on him has always been a lack of consistency and I think we saw a lot of that Saturday. IMO, it'd be better to go with McMillan, if for no other reason because he's younger. OL functions best when they play as a unit, and I'd rather have McMillan for the long haul than Gettis for a couple seasons.

Short week, after a huge emotional loss, against a bad team, in the rain, a week before PSU at night? Yeah, I wouldn't bet on much of a fired up performance.

I just hope they are cooly efficient, the starters get out healthy, and key subs get some work.
