A huge win, some tired players gutted it out

What a win, the hawks looked a little winded around 6 minute mark,

Fran got some sub time and they were ready to roll last 4 minutes

I thought Fran did some good subbing and the right guys were on the floor more often in the second half, like basabe, uthoff, gesell, oglesby with a very positive game,

I still dont like how we try to stall it out.

I would rather we just run our motion curl-cut offense

Also, keep in mind that Ohio State was coming off a tough loss, needed this win on their home floor and had 2 extra days to prepare. Great win!

Great win, to be sure. Nice effort today....this should pay dividends down the road....not just on selection Sunday, but in other close games.

Fran also did a good job of using Timeouts to help break their runs.

You have to take time off the clock and limit the opponents possessions. Just have to make freethrows. It worked well today. It's the best way to play it.

Only coaching complaint I have is he played McCabe way too much considering Zach more than proved he just didn't have it today.

Other than that I thought the gameplan was good and the players played pretty well. Nice to see some made free throws coming down the stretch for a change.

He's one of Iowa's most important players. He does a lot of the dirty work that doesn't always show up in the stat sheet.
