I said it after we played MSU in Carver and I'm saying it again, nobody works the officials better than MSU and nobody benefits from officiating more than them, although I think Indiana is giving them a run for their money this year.
Here's something I found to be interesting. Of the 27 officials that worked at least 5 Big Ten games this year, the three that worked the Iowa-MSU game yesterday ranked 21st, 25th, and 26th in average number of fouls called per game. I find that to be rather convenient, given MSU's tendency to play physical. I'll have to give them credit, I'm sure they knew the crew and used it to their advantage.
