It’s the man’s birthday today, fellas.
Happy birthday @FryowaIt’s the man’s birthday today, fellas.
No need to celebrate a racist.
I think he lives in Nevada, but as someone who has lived in Arizona myself--same/same.Serious note, how is Hayden doing? I know he lives in Arizona now, but I'd heard some concerning rumors about his health lately.
Of course you're kidding, but many may not know just how anti-racist Hayden was. This is always a good story to re-up. Just a brief mention in this ESPN piece, I'm sure someone will link a better one about the relationship between them. Pretty bold move for the old Coach.

He lives in Dallas now and while he not terminal, his health is poor enough that he probably has visited Iowa City for the last time. The University of Iowa is arranging a 90th birthday party for Hayden and his former coaches and players but it will be held in Dallas.Serious note, how is Hayden doing? I believe that was for his first year at Iowa. Lord knows what he made his first season at SMU in 1962.Also, fun fact, Hayden Fry's salary for his first year of coaching was $45,000.
Integrating the Southwest conference in 1966 was slightly different than doing the same at a Midwest school would have been.Of course you're kidding, but many may not know just how anti-racist Hayden was. Hayden probably lives like any other upper middle class retiree, and the entire Ferentz family tree will be set up for several generations if Kirk and Brian’s nest eggs are invested even somewhat intelligently. When you hit their level of wealth you can keep hauling in millions every year long after you’ve stopped getting paychecks.crazy isn't it. That shows what TV money will do for you.

But either way, cheers to Hayden Fry.
At 90 being a billionaire probably doesn't mean a damn thing.Hayden is pretty savvy and he made some non-coaching money too. I'm sure they're living comfortably. If you believe the net worth estimates on the interwebs, he's worth around 1.75M. Not rich, but he's in good shape.
