A couple weeks ago at Illinois, Uthoff drilled a 3 at the same time as the ref called an off the ball foul. When they came back from the tv timeout woody was shooting a 1 and 1. Even though Iowa never makes both free throws during a 1 and 1, he made both to give us our biggest lead of the night. We then proceeded to fall apart.
Then last night marble drained a 3 and the ref again called an off the ball foul. When we came back from the tv timeout McCabe was shooting a 1 and 1. He somehow makes them both to again give us our biggest lead of the game. We all know what happened after that.
Obviously 5 point plays are no good for Iowa and if I never see one again it will be too soon.
