Iowa has lost 5 out of the last 7 games. Today they lost to the worst team in the league.

What is the matter? I want to be mad, but I'm just at a loss. Do these players even care? Do they want to miss the NCAA tournament? Because that is exactly what is going to happen.

I don't want to bag on college kids....but good grief...they don't appear to have one ounce of pride, determination, or intestinal fortitude. They act like a bunch of automatons just going thru the motions.

As for Fran.....as much as I've supported him in the past...it is obvious he is in over his head. His lack of in game adjustments and mystifying substitution patterns make me want him gone. Won't happen..he'll get another year at least...but he is not the answer. I am grateful he brought the program out of the trash heap...but 5 years is plenty of time to be an NCAA tournament quality team. And this is not an NCAA tournament quality team.
 
It wasn't from lack of effort. I'm not joking when i say this, Woody was trying his *** off on those layups. He went up with everything he had, it just wasn't good enough. If the refs swallow their whistle, White can't help. Oglesby made 2 shots and it probably hurt us more than it helped because he played pretty much every minute after that. Those 3 guys playing that much in a game like that, we are probably not going to win. I think they left Woody open on purpose so he could get the ball. Good things did not happen for us when he got it.
 
The football team plays the same way. Look at what Fran and his teams were like when he first got here, they didn't have talent but they played hard, with passion, energy, and fortitude. Fran has now lost this team for consecutive years. He appears to be burnt out.
