Iowa among top schools for the talented ball carrier. He gives HN the latest on his recruitment and what's next:

Is he the kid who I saw in a highlight trucking some poor safety?
I do believe so. Give him a good line to run behind (which we almost always do, usually pretty good there) and a year in the program, he could be posting some numbers.
Which actually works out fairly well, his Sophomore yr will be Toren and IKM's Sr year. Yeah we need depth now, but that lines up almost like a gift for both sides.

Unfortunately, a lot of the podcast etc. Have been talking about him visiting Ames a lot. I hope the foundation Iowa has put down with him pays off. Additionally, Purdue may be the front runner for Bell.

Yeah, 247 is 4/4 Iowa right now for Brock. He does like ISU though, and it looks like it could come down to the two schools. Given everything I have read, it looks pretty good for the Hawks.

As for Bell, that is probably a reach. We are in it, but I'd give us around a 20% chance of landing him ... at most. It would be quite nice to finally land a top tier receiver if we can pull it off.

I really think you stretch yourself for a talent like Bell at the most historically awful position. You leave your normal spiel at the door. You level with the kid and tell him from day 1 the top job is his until he losses it to someone better.
