3A Heelan beats 4A East

Both teams were ranked #2 in their respective classes, but it was the 3A team that pulled this one out. Staten hits a clutch shot to put Heelan ahead for a final score of 39-37.

Staten looks very smooth and was definitely cool under pressure. Woodbury and Thok could not pull out the win. The game was played at Heelan.

2A West Fork beat 4A Mason City 2 weekends ago at Mason City. Granted West Fork is unbeaten and top 5 in their class and Mason City does not have much talent this year.
