HP40, goosebumps man, goosebumps...I want more of the same here also...thanks, that was awesome....I will never forget that shot as long I live

Boy, to see all the talent on that team is incredible. I always loved watching B.J. run the team. I think we need to reach out to George Raveling and hire him as our recruiting coordinator right now since he brought most of them in. I think he still would be able to do it.

I've always wished BJ would have some role in the program. Lucky for him he's an agent and making big bucks representing the always hurt Derrick Rose. I think he's Devin Marbles agent too among others. Wasn't he being thrown out there as a HC candidate when Lick got the job? I don't think he ever had much ambition to get into coaching but was willing to hear us out. I think he felt jobbed by the Bulls when they went with Paxon to be GM. He had been in their front office for awhile too.

Les Jepsen was the guy rumored for the HC job.

The television gig did not help his cause.....Man, he was brutal on TV.

Gamble was the least talked about of the top 6 or 7 players on that team but he had a very good career at Iowa and in the pros. I was watching that game at my brothers house, my kids were young and not into the hawks, and my bro and I went crazy.

Then we had heartbreak two days later.

I liked the way the guy flopped at the end trying to draw a foul.

Great to relive this. That UNLV game was brutal though. In retrospect, it's easy to understand Iowa becoming rattled by UNLV. They were completely distracted by Jim and Tammy Faye scandal that was breaking.
