Can anyone tell me what's Unique about this lineup? I'm thinking Fran may need a class on diversity or something. I know Pemsl and Moss will have something to say about this...but we are going to have a lot of guys that need to use sunscreen.

They can all shoot the three, but I'm not so sure how defensive they would be. Nunge,
Garza, and Kreiner have the potential, but they are pretty inexperienced.

I think you're also assuming Cook is gone. I don't see Pemsl and Moss not being starters as SR's. Just don't see it.

If cook, pemsl and moss all left early for the NBA draft we must have won the national title in 2018-19. Kentucky 2.0 baby

I'm sure Moss and Pemsl at least will still be around. It's doubtful Cook will, but it all depends on how he does this year actually on both end of the floor. He needs to show major improvement.

Honestly, in looking at the talent that Fran's building or built, we may be setting up for one of the best runs in Iowa Basketball in history. He obviously needs to do it in the tournament...but this team may be developing into a Sweet 16 team possibly this year. They have a lot of improvement to make on the defensive side, but we have athletes, so it can happen. 2018 and 2019, the expectations go up.

I love cook, he's a beast, but he has to refine some areas especially rebounding if he wants to declare early. Swanigan left early and only went 26th in the draft.

I think there is just as good a chance Cook stays all 4 as there is he leaves after 3. Cook is fairly raw, as you stated. As soon as Cook starts making the 15 ft jumper, he'll be ready. But you never know. Iowa could be geared for a very serious NCAA run when Cook is a SR. He might want to stay for that. He seems like a kid that isn't trying to "hurry up and get there".

I also believe Tyler will stay. He, more than likely, wants to be a part of the coming storm, making waves, on the way to the Final Four. He also needs the experience on the floor, D and rebounding along with the development of a mid-range game. I could see him working a soft hook from 2/5 feet in, off the backboard in the square behind the rim. I would like to see all the Hawks use the backboard more. Toss the ball off the square and it will go in almost every time.....

Tyler's enthusiasm is joyful to see. He leads the team in that aspect.....

Looking forward to seeing him the next three years, and will miss him when he graduates.....

Hopefully, Tyler will have a great sophomore campaign, be a lottery pick next year, and make a ton of money in the NBA. If the guy from Indiana can be a first rounder, I can see tyler being a high draft pick. The draft is about basketball, but they guys being drafted early are mainly about potential and athleticism. There were sixteen freshmen drafted in the first round. If Tyler hadn't been hurt who knows how it would of went for him. With the added experience individually and as a team, it should be a lot easier for him this year.

Tyler's D and rebounding improved as the season progressed. I do remember a game, perhaps at Maryland, when Coach Calhoun remarked about a particular robust rebound, saying: That was a good rebound by Cook.....

I mentioned it as it happened, and one of my pals said Calhoun said the same thing. It was a man's rebound, not unlike Ed Horton.....

Looked for it on Youtube, but no cigar. Did find this, however.....

Can't wait to see Tyler and Cordell playing with Luka and Jack,....

Cry Havoc and Let Slip the Dogs of War.....

The pain will continue with Ahmad and Ryan on the floor......

Oh Yes.....!
