2019-2020 B1G Opponents released

Pretty good draw for Iowa. Only have to play Michigan State once and it’s at their place (take the L and move on). Can beat any other team on that list in Carver.

Penn State, Nebraska, and Illinois as double plays.

Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Rutgers should be a lot weaker next year. Its to bad we only play them once in Iowa City.

Ohio State is projected to be a lot stronger next year. They don’t really lose anyone of note and bring in a very good recruiting class. Likewise I’m not sure Rutgers loses much either from a young team.

I’m thinking more along the lines of 16-4 and competing for the regular season and B1G tournament championships. We lose 3, (Cook, Dailey, and Baer), and get back 5, (Nunge, Pemsl, Fredrick, P.McCaffrey, and Toussaint). And we still have a scholly or two available if we decide to use one on a transfer.

I see where Freddie got a former Marquette player that was a four star and number 75 player in the country.

Jalen Suggs will still be in high school when Carton is playing at Iowa City next year.
I meant the year after. Unless carton is a one and done, I doubt he will be starting over Suggs. Suggs isn't gong somewhere to play behind a guy for a couple of years.
