I am surprised he thinks Iowa's opening game against NIU will be an easy victory. NIU won at Neb last year.
The late season game @ILL feels like a trap game. Rather have Iowa play them early. ILL has a lot of young talent that should improve each game as the season progresses.

Just for fun, I took a look at NIU's schedule. They play Iowa, Utah, Florida St and BYU. Not bad

Right. The thing about this guy is that he knows a fair amount about the big name teams, and only has a very shallow knowledge of everyone else. He's like your average 30 year old neighbor that watches a lot of football. He knows the cliches, he watches the big names, but that's about it. He probably gets most of his sports news from ESPN. It's like he didn't even realize Iowa has an easy schedule until the last two minutes of the video, just listen to his inflection when he realizes.
I seen this and had the same thought. Would absolutely love bet this guy on b10 games.

Lost a lot of production? We lost one productive player offensively...Wadley. Two very good linemen.
We lost three linebackers...the big issue with this 2018 team.
Schedule...returning young players...new recruits that could make an impact...Phil Parker knows what he is doing. All these items point to a better record than last year.
Any idiot can have a preseason prediction.

WTF is that? Ain't surprised that kid is wearing those ridiculous glasses, he's probably still crying about the Tide whooping Georgia's ass.
Returning young players who have size and talent.
The rest is coachable.
I don't see how anyone can look at it and not think that 9 months of coaching and studying can do anything but make big talented guys exponentially better.
I kind of feel the same about our rb's. Yeah we briefly saw them last year, but that was a long time ago.
