2017 DT Juan Harris De-Commits

You have GOT to be ******** me! God I hate these prima donna attention whore high school punks. Yeah, Piersbacher, I mean you too.

Heard he's been talking to Oregon now and the feelings to open up the recruitment were mutual.

With social media kids these days just like the hype that surrounds the recruiting process. I never thought he'd stick with him commitment but one month after giving his verbal tells me he's going to probably de-commit a few times from schools before signing day.

I agree, it's a long way to go and a lot of things to happen before the 2017 signing day. I'm glad it's mutual and he still speaks about being a big Hawkeye fan.

Can you blame this kid? Honestly what the heck do we have going? We are running talented players like Willies. We are a half step away from IL and Purdue now. Do not tell me these decommits are not a 100% reflection of how pathetic we are now.

Well I'm not going to sugar coat anything and say things are rosy right now but how much has really changed in the last month? He literally talked about how strong his word was and how the teams' record had nothing to do with his commitment. Guess his word wasn't as strong as he thought it was.

I don't blame a kid for being indecisive, I just don't understand why you rush to commit when you clearly have no idea what you want.

Harbaugh wasn't coaching Michigan a month ago either... I dunno 2017 is so far away we'll see what happens down the road. I just think that by the sounds of that article he'd be way better suited to just leave his options open for quite awhile cause I bet he'll have the pick of the litter

The dude is a sophomore in High School. Blame the staff for offering and accepting a verbal from a kid who probably hasn't even passed his driving test yet/

How does that sound anything unlike the typical thought process of the typical 15/16-year-old kid?

Especially one that's been to 3 high schools in the past year. Kids got a too much going on now to be able to make any kind of concrete decision.

Absolutely. People don't need to get upset at the kid; he's trying to find his way and made a quick decision that, fortunately, is something he can take back if and when he changes his mind.

No worries guyz. We'll have a more dynamic head coach by the time this kid is old enough to sign, and he'll come back into the fold.
