How did Iowa do this year under the "old" Big Ten lineup of teams (Mich, Ohio, MN, Purdue, MSU, Iowa, NW, Ind, IL, Wisc)? Here were the standings head to head:

Ohio St 5 0
Wisc 6 2
Iowa 4 2
Mich 4 2
NW 5 3
MN 3 2
Ind 2 3
Purd 1 5
ILL 1 6
MSU 0 6

Not bad.

It still doesn't feel right to me that Penn St, Nebraska, Rutgers and Maryland are in the Big Ten but I guess I'm stuck in ancient history.

You are stuck in the past but I did like just 12 teams better. rutgers and maryland somewhat seem like a reach now after a few seasons. maryland is more of a BBall school.

I am definitely stuck in the past. That is what happens when you get north of 60; there is a lot of past to remember.

The best thing about this is MSU is 0-6
