2014 APR Score of 930 to be bowl eligible

I absolutely love the intent/message, but this will just encourage (yet even more) cheating (especially among the big boys).

I never thought I would be saying/typing these words, but now that I live a major pro market, I'm about "this" close to giving up on college sports altogether. I love the Hawks so I'm not sure I could ever walk away, but I've never been this close in my whole life. Say what you will about pro athletes - all tatted up, making millions, behaving badly, etc - at least they are pure/transparent in their intentions: win & get rich (not necessarily in that order).

You also need 6 wins to be bowl eligible.

Apparently that is not true. From the article, "Ironically, if there aren't enough bowl-eligible teams for all the slots -- at least a 6-6 record -- bowls will be allowed to dip down to 5-7 eligibility. But those teams will be ranked by highest APR score."
