I think I speak for everyone when I say that last year’s awards were a bit... disappointing.

OK4P - Can we count on you to redeem yourself or is it thyme to start a real committee? Maybe the mods should have some input… or maybe not. Anyway, opinions are appreciated.

Seriously? The category names alone are worth the price of admission.
 


No Bendy was right. Someone got lazy and just crapped out some pis poor awards. The follow up awards helped to right the ship, but overall very underwhelming

Is someone trying to join the list of posters with a lifetime ban from ever winning an award? If so, mission accomplished. You people don't ask about the awards. You just don't. And you don't ever say they were disappointing. And by God, you NEVER, EVER question The Committee or speak of "start[ing] a real committee." Opinions are not appreciated.

No. Idiot. Someone was running free 10 yards past the defense at the 20 and started high stepping so the refs threw a flag. Last year's awards were the result of one poster ruining the fun for everyone. That poster has been banned and The Committee was optimistic that an unfortunate event was not going to happen this year, but The Committee is not happy right now after seeing this thread.

Everyone -- let me repeat, everyone -- wants an HN Poster of the Year Award. One should never disparage the awards nor speak ill of The Committee. Nor should one ever be seen as lobbying for an award or nominating -- or even inquiring about nominating -- another poster for one.

You were cautioned and you ignored it.

If standing up for what’s right lands me a ban, then call me GhostofBTT. OK4P needs a lesson in what it means to be an executive and knowing how to take criticism. See: Jamie Pollard.

Also, you’ve banned me the last 2 years so whats another year of watching inferior dinguses get honored?
 


Omg whatever will i do without an award from a website that only exists in plastic boxes filled with copper,lead mercury and silicon? Gosh darnit my life will be so incomplete
