The Martin Brothers team won a huge tournament at Fort Wayne,IN over the weekend. Paige was MVP. Coaching staff at Iowa is really coming off positively with some of these kids. This staff is night and day compared to the last staff with its effort. Assistant Coach Francis is a really really good recruiter, and very well liked.

That's great to hear. Locking down these kids in our own state is key to where this bball program will be in 3-4 years. It'll be tough battling Fred for them, though I'm sure.

Not to worry, by then the Big 10, SEC, and Pac 10 will have raided the Big 12 for teams leaving ISU to join the MVC. These kids will want to play in the big time.

Yep. That is what I have been saying all along. But we can also add the Carver renovations. However, all this being said, I still think FM needs to pull a four star or 2 in 2011 to give these kids someone to be excited to play with.
