2011 Center possibilities...

Looking through 2011 Center prospects, none have Iowa listed as an interest -- shocking -- but here are some that are uncommitted and showing an interest/openness to travelling to the midwest to play ball (the better midwest teams listed in their schools of interest).

Kyle Caudill, 6'11", 260, Brea, CA (Brea Olinda).

Marshall Plumlee, 6'11", 195, Arden, NC (Christ School).

Amir Williams, 6'9", 220, Beverly Hills, MI (County Day).

What is so shocking about that ? Centers have self-respect just the same as all the point guards who said no to this program last year.

Cody Zeller is listed as a PF, but he is also listed at 6'10.5", and he has interest in the Hawks. That's the kind of size we need. He's only listed at 200 pounds, but he's also just a junior, and he's not been on a D1 strength and conditioning program. He could easily be up to 215-220 by the end of his senior year.

Do you think he has real interest or has the staff talked to him and made an offer? Armstead was shown to have interest last year but it is clear the interest wasn't mutual.
