2010 Schedule

is starting to take shape with the announcement that there will be 17 home games this year(last year had 19).

So, non-conference schedule will be:

5 road games- Drake,ACC Challenge, Paradise Jam-3 games.

8 home games- UNI,ISU, and 6 games to be announced. For Fran's sake, I hope these are all winnable games...in his 1st year,I do not care about SOS.

Big Ten schedule- home and away for all but PSU(away only) and Wis( home only).

17 home games, 14 road games...not great for building to a winning first season for Fran,but if they schedule those 6 non-conference games wisely,and we win two down in Virgin Isles...maybe upset ISU and Drake...that could be 9 or 10 non-conference wins...then sneak out 5 or 6 wins in the league...could get to 16-15 before the BTT...Go Hawks!

I don't think Iowa beating ISU next year in CHA would be an upset or winning at Drake.

I'll agree with you on beating ISU at home, but beating Drake here will be tough; they're not really a bad team. They'll be better than Iowa State.

Drake will be tough, but I just think losing Josh Young is going to really hurt them next year.

Very true, but they bring back nearly everyone else. Seeing as how my dad has season tickets for Drake, I'll be at that game, and probably several others.

When the crowd is into it, the Knapp Center is a fantastic place to see a basketball game.

Did you say upset ISU? They might be in worse shape then the Hawks. I say at worst this is a pick'em games.
