Anyways, with the Bulaga news this evening. What is the line going to look like next year? Obviously Reiff will probably be the LT, and Vandervelde will get one of the guards spots. Other than that, a lot of question marks.

It appears that Koeppel and Ferentz will battle for the center spot. Gotta think that Gettis will have the upper hand on a guard spot. He started versus UNI. Have read good things about Nolan MacMillan, Van Sloten, and Orne. Andrew Donnal could potentially be an instant impact player.

So, what do you all think. Predict your starting Oline.

I'll go with this from left to right. Reiff, Gettis, Koeppel, Vandervelde, MacMillan

LT Reiff, LG Vandervelde, C Toss up, RG Gettis, RT MacMillan

Van Sloten may be a possible cannidate to sneak in there I've heard a lot of good about him, and depending on how good Donnal is maybe him. All in all i'm not to worried because our line is always solid and is coached very well. Look for Reiff to have a monster year very very good! The left side will be the more dominant side with more experience but Gettis does have a start or two under his belt.

Didn't Gettis start at right guard the first couple of games this year while Vandervelde was coming back from his pec injury?

I would not be surprised if Dace Richardson is back. All signs point to that being the case...the only problem is that he won't hear from the NCAA on his 6th year of eligibility until after the draft...but with 2 full years missed due to injury and part of this year it'd be hard to imagine him not getting a 6th year.

Dace announced that he is entering the NFL draft after the game last night.

Yeah on another board, they had Orne ahead of Gettis, but I believe that's highly doubtfull because Gettis has started at RG before.

Dace won't get drafted I don't think. I can't imagine a team is going to roll the dice on him.

He really needs a year to prove he can get through a season healthy IMO.

My bad...I didn't watch the postgame because I was busy celebrating. I did get a chance to see video of the love it or leave it post game comment from Ricky that was awesome.

Dace is every bit as big of a loss as Bulaga.

We are going to be REALLY young on the O-line next year. Talented, but very young. The boys better lift hard this summer.

Zusevics will be in the mix, too...
I agree but I've heard nothing but good things bout Van
Sloten and MacMillen, so I think Zusevics will be 2nd string at LT or RT. Either way their will be a lot of compitition in the spring and summer for starting positions

Did anyone else notice the line that was in for the last two snaps on victory formation? It looked like it was Kuempel, Dace, Koeppel, Doering, Zusevics on 1st down and then on 2nd Orne was in for Koeppel at center with the others remaining the same. Orne and Eubanks are both #52 but Eubanks was too busy dumping Ferentz with gatorade so it had to be Orne on the last snap.

Just thinking that Orne, Zusevics, and Koeppel would be in the mix next year.

I have to check the DVR but I believe Zuscevis was in in the jumbo package on the last drive, for what its worth...
