20 wins in 2 years

Lots of whining and bitchin about coaches, players, etc. (from myself included), but I'd love 20 wins in the next 2 years as well. Not a lot of teams that can say they have won 20 games in the past 2 years (don't have the numbers in front of me). My hats off to the Hawks! Excited for the bowl and to return so many key players.

Players and coaches stepped up down the road. This is what he fans expect. at least me. Be competitive, be in the game. 8-10 wins Good job righting the ship

If you are meh about 8-4 with wins down the stretch over #3 and #16, God help you. Go cheer for Ohio state or Alabama. They need your kind over there.

Depends how you look at it. Before the season most people would have said 8 wins was worse case scenario. On the other hand after PSU everyone was saying best case was 6 wins. It's all about expectations.

Things looked really bleak after the NDSU-Rutgers-NW portion of the schedule so I'd say 8-4 is pretty darn good as I for one legitimately didn't think we'd even make a bowl game after NW.

8 wins was worst case scenario. But it gets a passing grade for a season. Win the bowl game and next year depends on two factors -- Stanley at QB, and the LBs in the absence of JJ. I saw enough of the lines this year that they'll be solid next year, Fant and the receivers will be better (can't be worse) and a tailback that could average 7.5 - 8 ypc next year.

You have OSU on the schedule, which is a gauranteed loss, but they can win every other game in a season where 7 - 5 would be a passing grade. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say 8 - 4 next year is my expectation, with an outside chance at 10 - 2 if Stanley is a gamer.

JJ? Are you talking about Jaleel Johnson? The reason is because Josey Jewell is a Junior and not a Senior. So, which is it? I won;t worry about LBs but I will worry about the DLine.
